Intro

This is a blog dedicated to convincing the powers-who-be at ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut to sever ties with the one and only dumb-ass blonde ditz sideline "reporter" Erin Andrews. Every weekend during the college football season, and twice a week during the Major League Baseball and college basketball seasons, this lost soul litters the ESPN/ESPN2/ABC airways with mindless dribble containing nothing but fluff. Plus, Little Miss Erin has had a history of butchering the English language during various telecasts, including such classics as referring to the University of Arkansas Razorbacks as the "Arizona Razorbacks" during the early minutes of an Arkansas/Texas football game back in 2004, repeating this gaff during the Capital One Bowl luncheon last week when introducing Heisman runner-up Arkansas running back Darren McFadden, and renaming Atlanta Braves broadcaster Joe Simpson and his then broadcast partner Baseball Hall-of-Famer Don Sutton "Don Simpson and Joe Sutton" during her blunder filled two year tenure as studio host for Braves Baseball on TBS in the 2002 and 2003 seasons.

I invite anybody else who is sick of this useless broad stealing money from ESPN and stealing potential airtime from the likes of the very knowledgeable and classy Bonnie Bernstein, Lisa Salters, and Doris Burke to vent your displeasure here.

Thanks and have fun!!!!

damn, what did she do? turn you down for a date or something? Erin Andrews is a fine sideline journalist, reporter, etc. Her reports are often informative, and she is concise and to the point. I guess you think you could do better? It does not look like you have too many out there that are in agreement with you, since you have zero posts in support of your stance.

First off, why would I want a date with a dumb-ass blonde like her no matter how hot looking she is, LOL!!!! If Erin Andrews is a fine "reporter" as you claim she is, then why does she repeatedly confuse a certain SEC college team with a certain National League West baseball team, openly blush on camera, trip over cable wires on the sidelines at various game sites, have colleagues such as former Dodger Eric Karros make rather sexist remarks about her looks without any reprocussions, sleep with hockey players, etc.????

Ms. Andrews' actions both before ESPN and since she joined the four letter network should be put together in a "what not to do" video shown to high school and college age women who want to go into broadcasting, then, have them watch tapes of Bonnie Bernstein, Suzy Kolber, Michele Tafoya, Linda Cohn, Pam Oliver, Andrea Kremer, Holly Rowe, Lesley Visser, etc. and compare each of them. Most of the young women watching would likely want to pattern themselves after the aforementioned women reporters except Andrews.

Personally, I don't get the buzz over Erin Andrews in the first damned place. Yeah, she is hot, but she is basically Jill Arrington without the FHM spreads, at least yet, anyway. Plus, at the rate ESPN is going as far as distancing themselves from former executive Mark Shapiro's hires, programming ideas, and influences, I wouldn't be surprised if Little Miss Erin is on the chopping block soon, making yours truly one of the happiest people on Earth!!!!

Give me Bonnie Bernstein over Erin Andrews anyday, not only as far as knowledge and preparation goes, but lookswise as well.
